Designed to deliver solid performance and reliability for digital video systems and connected home applications, CinemaStar drives offer up to 1TB of capacity in an industry-standard 2.5-inch form factor, with either 7mm or 9.5mm thicknesses. These drives leverage Advanced Format technology, which increases the physical sector size on hard drives from 512 bytes to 4096 (4K) bytes.

This advancement increases drive capacities and improves error correction capabilities, resulting in improved video quality and AV performance. The 3 Gb/s SATA interface supports high-performance streaming for both video and surveillance applications.
