SUSTAINED COMMITMENT

New Sustainability Targets Aim High

Western Digital is already a leader when it comes to sustainability, but now we have big plans to make an even bigger difference. Our four ambitious new sustainability commitments will have a major impact on operations, product development, and supply chain management, as well as on our global environmental footprint. Continuing our focus on emissions, we are committing to running our operations on 100% renewable energy by 2030 and to achieve net zero emissions in our operations (Scopes 1 and 2) by 2032. We are also committing to diverting more than 95% of our waste from landfills and to reduce water withdrawals by 20%, both by 2030.
