OpenFlex™ NVMe-over-Fabrics (NVMe-oF™) Flash Storage Platform and Open Composable API: See how Western Digital is delivering a flexible, NVMe composable infrastructure with its standards-based OpenFlex architecture and F3000 NVMe-oF Flash Storage Platform. The OpenFlex product family helps customers disaggregate resources into shared pools enabling on-demand allocation, helping customers achieve higher utilization, as well as achieve up to 40 percent savings in total cost of ownership (TCO) compared to traditional hyper-converged infrastructures (HCIs). As part of the company's commitment to open architectures, Western Digital will be providing an Open Composable API and mechanical designs of its first Fabric-attached device, OpenFlex F3000, to the OCP Storage Project, which will enable the global community to develop Fabric-attached devices in the OpenFlex F3000 form factor and ensure compatibility with Western Digital's E3000 enclosure.
Data Center-Class HDDs and SSDs: As the pioneer and leader of enterprise-capacity helium-sealed HDDs, and one of the world's leading manufacturers of NAND flash technology, Western Digital offers a broad portfolio of high-quality HDDs and SSDs demanded by today's enterprises and cloud customers. Come see Western Digital latest NVMe SSDs with 64-layer TLC 3D NAND technology for public, private, and hyperscale cloud environments, as well as increasingly demanding workloads at the edge. The company's SSDs come in a variety of form factors and interfaces, including SATA, SAS and NVMe for extreme performance, endurance and capacity. Visitors to the booth will also see demos of its Ultrastar® HDDs with shingled magnetic recording (SMR) and dual-stage actuator technology that deliver critical storage density, and low watts/TB and $/TB for creating the most cost-efficient data infrastructures.
Western Digital's full data center portfolio includes the IntelliFlash™ hybrid, all-flash and NVMe all-flash storage systems; ActiveScale™ petabyte-scale, hybrid-cloud object storage system; OpenFlex NVMe-over-Fabrics (NVM-oF) open composable infrastructure; Ultrastar server and storage platforms; Ultrastar memory extension drive; and its family of Ultrastar data center-class HDDs and SSDs.
