Sean Scott

Sean Scott, one of Australia’s most well-known Ocean Landscape photographers based in Burleigh Heads, Queensland where he owns and operates his coastal Lifestyle gallery. Sean is an ambassador for Tourism Australia, an ambassador & content creator for Tourism & Events Queensland and has worked very closely with Tourism Western Australia, Tourism Tasmania, Tourism NT and many RTO’s. Since becoming an ambassador for Tourism Australia Sean has done 5 road trips around Australia over the past 5 years in his purpose built outback photography truck (79 series LandCruiser). This setup makes it capable to live, work and play in any location in Australia.

I'm currently using the full suite of the SanDisk memory cards from the Compact Flash cards in some of the older DSLRs,

to the C Fast Express cards in the new Canon R5.

I've also got the SD cards in the Canon C70 as well as micro SD cards in all our drones and action camera's.

I've been using all these memory cards in some of the most remote and harshest places in the world.

From the ice fields in northern Canada, to diving under the water in the Maldives,

to the dusty environment's in outback Australia without any issues.

One of the main things I've always focused on is to use the best of the best equipemnt.

The Extreme Pro cards are fast, always on the leading edge of technology. So they suit all the new cameras when I upgrade.

All in all, I've been using SanDisk cards for the last 20 years and have never had an issue.

I've never lost a file and I wouldn't recommend anything else.

What was your best and your worst experience as a photographer?

The best experiences for me would have to be when everything comes together and you’re at the right place at the right time capturing the moment and experiencing it for yourself. An example of this would have to be where I came across the hundreds of Sharks at Red Bluff in Western Australia while on one of my road trips. Worst experience. There is none.
