FiLMiC Pro provides a seamless automatic transfer experience from its internal video library to the My Passport Wireless SSD and My Passport Wireless Pro. The cloud icon will let you know which clips have already been archived allowing you to safely delete them from your smartphone or tablet to free up space.

If you did not perform an automatic backup to your My Passport Wireless SSD at the time of recording then you can manually backup any clip in the FiLMiC library by tapping the archive icon.

WIRELESS ACCESS AND 4K STREAMING

My Passport Wireless SSD creates its own fast 802.11ac WiFi connection so you can wirelessly connect to your drive to access and view saved photos or smoothly stream 4k video directly to your phone or tablet using the My Cloud app2. Use third party apps, like FiLMiC Pro. To capture and save footage directly to the drive or LumaFusion to edit video in the field.

  1. Based on streaming HD 720p, 3 Mbps video to one device over Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz single band only. Actual battery life depends on file size, type, format, bitrate, devices connected, Wi-Fi connectivity, settings and other factors.
  2. 4K streaming requires native player on mobile device with codec support for 4K video files and is subject to mobile device capabilities, hardware and software components and configurations.
