COVID-19 Communication Updates: Western Digital Customer Support

RMA Center in Malaysia – Open with Limited Capacity

Western Digital is committed to the health and safety of our employees, partners, and customers around the world and providing you excellent support.  We are carefully monitoring the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and have instituted health and safety measures recommended by local health authorities and the World Health Organization. 

After an initial closure in early August as a precautionary measure to protect our employees and to comply with the government’s nationwide safety measures, we reopened our RMA Center in Malaysia with limited capacity at the end of August.  We are working closely with the local government to determine when we will be able to fully reopen. During this period, we will continue issuing and processing RMAs for customers, but longer than usual processing time for replacements or credit may be experienced.

To help our customers with these actions in Malaysia, we will be extending the return period for any existing RMAs an additional 30 days.
