Tom Bol is an editorial and commercial photographer based in Colorado. His work has taken him to more than 80 countries and all seven continents. He specializes in adventure sports, portraits, and travel photography. National Geographic Adventure listed Tom as one of “50 of America’s Top Visionaries” for his photography, and he has been featured in numerous photography magazines about his creative lighting techniques. He is a contributor to many photography publications including Outdoor Photographer, Digital Photo Pro, and Lightroom magazines. He is an instructor at Kelby One, and Photo District News labeled him as one of the best photo workshop instructors in the country. He has written three books on photography including Adventure Sports Photography: Creating Dramatic Images in Wild Places. I regularly photograph in very extreme conditions from 30 below in the arctic to 100 degrees or more
