No, the program is free to participate in. However, to earn points, approved customers must purchase eligible products from Western Digital-authorized distributors.

For all orders made with Western Digital-authorized distributors, any earned points will be pending on your account for 30 days. As there is no set return window for orders placed with Western Digital-authorized distributors, returns can be submitted at any time and points will subsequently be deducted from your account.

Once the changes are reflected on your account, you will not earn additional points. If your available points are above the minimum payout, you will receive up to $30,000 per calendar quarter according to our program terms. You will still have access to view your Points Activity after all points have expired.

Products that are eligible to earn points can be found here. Channel partners will receive points on qualifying purchases made through Western Digital-authorized distributors. Western Digital will post points to the member account once POS data is provided by the distributor.

All customers are eligible to earn up to 10,000,000 points on purchases and other points activities per calendar year. Points earned from bonus promotions will count towards the 10,000,000-point maximum.

All points earned in a calendar year will expire at the end of the same calendar year, except pending points. Any points pending on December 31st will rollover to the next calendar year.

Western Digital will redeem available points toward a cash payout each calendar quarter, provided the minimum reward amount of $100 is met. Customers are eligible to receive up to $30,000 each calendar quarter. All rewards will be issued in US Dollars.

All cash payouts are handled by HSBC bank on behalf of Western Digital. Once a cash payout is approved for processing, the rewards tracker and points activity will be updated in your account and a confirmation email will also be sent. Cash payouts of up to $30,000 may be processed for payment in a quarter following the quarter in which they were earned.

Your points will roll over to the next quarter if the minimum reward amount is not met or your available balance is greater than the point equivalent of $30,000. Points will only roll over to the next quarter within a calendar year.

Customers must have at least $100 worth of available points before being eligible for a cash reward. The maximum reward amount per calendar quarter is $30,000, with a maximum of $120,000 per calendar year. All rewards will be issued in US Dollars and deposited into the bank account provided by you during the payout process.

All approved rewards members can go to our Business Portal to view their available points balance and quarterly reward progress.

For all orders made with Western Digital-authorized distributors, any earned points will be pending on your account for 30 days from the transaction date with the distributor. We must first receive the POS data from the distributor to post pending points to your account.

Any points pending on December 31st will rollover to the next calendar year.

Upon approval to join the program, all customers start at Silver Tier status. Tier status is based on points earned on purchases and other activities completed during the calendar year. Once a tier status is achieved, it will be in effect until the end of the next calendar year. Tier progress resets at the start of each calendar year. Pending points will not count towards tier progress. Any points earned in bonus point promotions or other point activities will count towards tier progress. 

Gold and Platinum members are eligible for a points multiplier. Gold members receive 1.1x points while Platinum members receive 1.2x points. This multiplier is factored into the reward value shown in your account. If you are a Gold or Platinum member, the same amount of points will allow you to reach a greater reward value compared to Silver members.
