Position 1 Position : Staff Engineer / Senior Engineer / Engineer Department : Firmware Engineering Responsibilities:
Design, program, analyze, debug, and modify real-time embedded Hard Drive firmware code applications to support new program introduction and enhance factory Cost, Yield, Quality and performance.
Work with respective functional teams (e.g. servo, channel, PCBA, Mechanical, IC, interface, test, FIT) to bring up new hardware and software with the firmware features
Provide analysis and solutions to customer issues.
Requirements:
Masters / Bachelors Degree in Computer / Electronics Engineering
Extensive in-depth experience with C / C++, assembly languages, code development process with debug emulation and simulation tools
Embedded system development, ARM and real-time programming

Responsible to manage failure analysis activities such as final quality test, reliability test & customer field return.
To supervise & manage a FA organization to analyse drive funtional fallout from FQA/Reliability
Continuously support outgoing drive quality objectives
Support Engineering & QA evaluations whenever is necessary in terms of FA.

Position 3 Position : Senior Engineer / Engineer Department : FIT Engineering
Responsibilities:
Learn and understand a variety of complex technical specifications and apply that knowledge to using and enhancing our test suite and test processes
Interface with the program teams to communicate schedules, assess readiness and assist in making risk assessments
Debug test failures with advanced drive features using sophisticated program similar to C test programs, OEM tests, and a variety of other test programs under various Operating Systems
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferably with 1 year relevant working experience
Ability to read and comprehend complex technical specifications

Responsibilities:
Responsible for technological transfer of Headstack and Media from US R&D facility and assist in the development of new products
To perform system to component level in depth Failure Analysis on reject parts and recommends technical solutions
Provide technical direction and support in resolving yield and reliability issues related to Headstack / Media
Liaise with suppliers on failure analysis activities, review reports and developing new test to address relevant sources of failures

Strong knowledge in C/C++ programming language is necessary for the position of channel firmware coder.
Position 7 Position : Senior Engineer / Engineer Department : Asia Engineering Product
Responsibilities:
Involve in yield improvement activities to improve test yield.
Perform failure analysis to determine failure mechanism and pursue appropriate corrective actions
Verify and implement production test and debug software.
Develop and maintain debug software.

To be the main technical resource for new product transfer, EOL control and any changes made to the method of manufacturing of the factory’s product.
Responsible for the product which is assigned to him in areas of transfer activities, process set-up and subsequent proliferation.

Responsibilities:
Position 14(a)
Perform Channel / Servo / Advance Head/Media Characterization to qualify component, product, firmware and process changes.
Analyze the data, characterize and recommend for improvement.
Perform failure analysis or channel the failure to responsible groups for analysis where applicable.
Position 14(b)
Responsible to ensure functional test software to support all new and sustaining drive programs.
Maintain the hardware and testers of the department.
Administer and troubleshoot the hardware and software operations of the department.
Debug test software issues.
Liaise with vendors for preventive maintenance and new testers design.
Requirements:

Responsibilities:
Engage/ support NPL stream on new product qualification reliability testing, tester planning, test requirements and product readiness.
Coordinate & perform BEST(Basic Environmental Stress Test) & ORT ( Ongoing reliability test to ensure product meets specifications and ship criteria
Coordinate failure analysis and verify corrective actions for reliability failures.
Support Engineering /SQE in evaluating and qualifying new components, design or process
Prepare Reliability Indices Report, Data for Critical Parameters & Identification of Virtual Failures.
Provide Data and Trend Analysis for driving Product Improvement.

Responsibilities:
Project Manage and coordinate activity spanning from the inception at HSA (Wafer type/binning) , to the introduction to the HVM environment.
Formulate deployment plans and roadmap to meet the business needs for the Head Media Combo HVM release.
To be able work the Head Media Development team and the Factory Execution team to deliver the Head Media combo from the qualification stage through the HVM release.
