Job Title:              ‘Regional Sales Manager’

 Job Description:
The ‘Regional Sales Manager’ Reports to: the ‘EMEA Sales Director’ Solid State Storage Business Unit.
                                               
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing mutually profitable customer relationships and achieving strategic sales goals by promoting and selling the complete line of products of Solid State Storage Business Unit to assigned customers and prospects.
Specific responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Management and development of assigned customers to ensure maximum volume, market share and revenue targets are achieved
  2. Undertake pre-defined Quarterly Billings/Sell-through targets and or /MBO’s.  An agreed portion (50%) of quarterly reimbursement is dependent upon actual performance results against targets/MBO’s.
  3. Provide reports to management related to all sales development within assigned customer base.
  4. Administer and negotiate pricing necessary to maintain a competitive position yet yield the highest possible return on sales.
  5. Ensure competitive losses are at a minimum by sustaining knowledge of the competitor’s strategies and products to maintain maximum market share.
  6. Manage a co-operative working relationship between all necessary inter-company departments to ensure resources are used to achieve customer satisfaction and company objectives.
  7. Represent the company at industry events to promote product range and brand name.
  8. Attend quarterly Sales Meetings to develop a good understanding and knowledge of the Hard Disk Drive market; it’s players and channels.

 

 

Territory:

Southern Europe

Candidate Attributes:

The candidate will have good knowledge and understanding of IT products with a preference for HDD or SSD storage.
The candidate will have experience of working and managing sales in the IT channel.
The candidate has experience in working with key and enterprise accounts on long term projects.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of managing IT business in the target countries.
The candidate must be willing to travel regularly in designated territory.
The candidate must provide a high level of self motivation and self organization to manage successfully the channel partners and key accounts in his territory.

Language:

Native language in territory (French or Italian)
Good standard of English
Good communication in second territory language an advantage
